The OCR software that our system uses will make best efforts in finding out the expiry date from the uploaded photo. In the event we are not able to find it out, the item will be rejected.
Yes, your household item photo(s) are shared with third party OCR and LLM systems (Hence the mention of not to share photos with Personally Identifiable Information data in it. Eg. Passports, driving license).
Rest of the data is not shared with any 3rd party systems and is stored securely on our servers. So there is “no way” for the 3rd party systems to ever know that so and so product belongs to John Doe!
The recipe suggestions are automatically generated by the third party AI LLM system. We do not manually curate them or check it for its accuracy.
Yes! why not. Any perishable item (without PII data) at home can be / should be tracked in the application.

Yes. You are required to make a subscription commitment before you can start clicking photos! There is only a single yearly subscription plan. Very manageable specially considering the things that the app will do for you and your home!
Yes. We offer a very generous trial period of 3 months for all our new users! We do understand that it takes time to fully realise the usage of apps like these and whether they fit into the way things are managed at home.
